Job Summary:
As an Embedded Support Engineer , you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support to our customers utilizing our real-time embedded operating system. You will collaborate with our development and engineering teams to understand the product features thoroughly and help customers resolve complex technical issues. Your expertise in real-time operating systems, networking protocols, and debugging will be essential in ensuring the successful integration and deployment of our products in various customer applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support to customers and partners for the integration and implementation of our real-time embedded operating system and network stack solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex software and networking issues reported by customers, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to analyze and resolve customer-reported problems and product-related inquiries.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, FAQs, and best practices, to assist customers in using our products effectively.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer feedback and product usage patterns to identify areas for improvement and provide valuable insights to the product development team.
- Assist in testing and validating new releases and updates to ensure product stability and reliability.
- Engage in remote debugging sessions and on-site support, when required, to resolve critical customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and networking protocols to continuously improve your expertise and the quality of support provided.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role, preferably in real-time embedded operating systems and networking domains.
- Strong expertise in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in debugging embedded systems and network-related issues using various tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as C, C++, and assembly language.
- Knowledge of hardware-level interactions, device drivers, and communication interfaces commonly used in embedded systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think logically and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer support and building long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time operating systems such as Deos, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or QNX.
- Familiarity with networking technologies in Aerospace or automotive applications.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in embedded systems and networking.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools.
- Certifications related to real-time operating systems and networking protocols are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, or a related role in the aerospace industry with a focus on safety-critical applications.
- Strong expertise in safety-critical systems, avionics, and aerospace regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, etc.).
- Familiarity with aerospace communication protocols, data buses, and system architectures commonly used in safety-critical applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Embedded Security Architect to join our team. As an Embedded Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions for our embedded systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our products and solutions meet the highest standards of security.
